In 2011, we began our search for a family dog. We researched many breeds, looking for a gentle giant. One prerequisite for us was that the breed would be known as gentle and good with our young children. We were introduced to the Bernese Mountain Dog by a friend and immediately fell in love with the breed. This dog was big and known for it's gentleness and loyalty. We welcomed Lady Jane into our family in April 2012 and all our dreams for a family dog came true. As our children have grown up alongside Lady Jane. We continue to be so thankful for her and more convinced then ever of the greatness of this breed. In the Bernese Mountain Dog, we found our gentle giant.
Lady is our momma dog. She has a gentle personality and loves to be right where we are. Lady Jane passed away in March 2022. At the age of 10. It was sad to say goodbye. She was a wonderful Dog and is missed by us all.
Annabelle, daughter of Lady, just turned 6 years old. She is very energetic, and loves to be in on the action. Annabelle delivered her first litter in October 2018, and has proved to be every bit as good of a momma as her momma Lady was!
Our Breeding Program
We are committed to the health and wellness of our dogs and puppies. First, these are our family dogs. Second, we are excited to be able to share this breed and the good temperament of this family line with those looking for the same qualities we were! We have chosen to breed not more than once a year and only when the momma is in optimal health.
They are family loved and raised. They are ACA registerable, vet checked, and up-to-date on all shots and meds if necessary. We are committed to finding each puppy a safe and loving new home. A home where they can thrive as they grow. We take these things into consideration when selecting new homes for our pups: They will need quality food, quality time, and room to run. These three things are essential to their well being as they grow and for the duration of their lives.
